Pierce performs in two sold-out album release concerts for the recording of the new musical, The Fourth Messenger
The Fourth Messenger CD (see more information below, from July) is now complete, and fans of the show and of composer Vienna Teng and playwright Tanya Shaffer packed the houses for two album release concerts. The first concert took place at Berkeley's famous Freight & Salvage Coffee House on November 7th, and the second at the fantastic Throckmorton Theatre in Mill Valley on November 8th. Pierce performed the song "You've Got A Glow" with Vienna Teng.
Pierce has been honored to be nominated for a Theatre Bay Area Award for his performance in White Christmas as Bob Wallace at Hillbarn Theatre in December 2014!
"Two on the Boards" is Ambler and Brandt's premiere cabaret show with a trio directed by music director extraordinaire, Billy Philadelphia. "Two on the Boards" is something of a hybrid – it's a retrospective of Jim's and Pierce's careers in blockbuster Broadway productions and in professional theater and concerts throughout the country, and it's also a tribute to famous duets and some of the classic duo acts of our time.
Wednesday, September 9th at Feinstein's at the Nikko Hotel
in San Francisco.

Pierce has returned to the musical theater stage this fall in a wonderful holiday production of Irving Berlin's White Christmas at the intimate Hillbarn Theatre in the Bay Area's Foster City, just south of San Francisco. THE REVIEWS ARE IN!
"Pierce Peter Brandt in the Crosby role is the highlight of the production directed by Virginia Musante. A genial, natural actor, Brandt is also a gifted crooner with a rich, powerful range and his singing style is perfectly adapted to the mid-century romantic balladeer. The whole production truly rises to a new level when he’s in the spotlight and he is bracketed by two solid partners."
– San Francisco Examiner (by Robert Sokol)
"...a top-notch Pierce Peter Brandt in the Crosby role." "...it is veteran actor Brandt's earnest naturalness and exceptionally strong singing voice that gives this production what gravity it has." "...Brandt and the chorus let loose on 'Blue Skies' to end Act 1 on a high note."
– San Jose Mercury News (by Joanne Engelhardt)
"Pierce Peter Brandt and Jim Ambler lead the energy and talent of Hillbarn Theatre's White Christmas. The two Equity actors give great character and Broadway-quality vocals to song and dance partners Bob Wallace and Phil Davis."
