ACTOR VOICEOVER ACTOR SINGER
From regional theater to Broadway productions, chorus boy to leading man, Pierce Peter Brandt has been there. Pierce is a recipient of two DramaLogue (Backstage West) Awards and a San Francisco Critics Award, as well as numerous accolades from critics and audiences across the country for his performances in leading roles in the Broadway productions of Les Miserables and Martin Guerre, the national touring company of Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as in major musical productions at many of the country's finest professional regional theaters. Pierce has also worked with many of the musical theater industry’s most outstanding professionals, from producers and directors to composers, casting directors, actors, and musicians. Having started out as a child actor, and always an advocate of ongoing training, education, and practice, Pierce has studied with some of the industry's best and has been performing for over 30 years. Though Pierce has a thriving performing career, he still teaches because he enjoys sharing his experience, knowledge, and unique insight with actors and singers of all levels of experience.
As a teacher, in addition to giving ongoing private training and coaching, Pierce is an instructor at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco, and has taught master classes and workshops for adults, teens, and children throughout the country (see list to the right). In addition, he has been a member of the Artistic Staff of the Stanford University Department of Drama, and he is a directorial consultant and coach for musical productions, most recently having worked with the cast of the "school edition" of Les Miserables at El Dorado Musical Theater Company.
