ACTOR VOICEOVER ACTOR SINGER
This month, Pierce is in the process of putting together his first San Francisco voiceover demo with Elaine Clark, acclaimed voiceover actor/director/teacher, and founder of San Francisco's VoiceOne. The recording date is set for the end of the month, and the demo will be posted here, on Pierce's new site, as soon as possible.
On February 13th, Pierce performed once again as a guest soloist with the fantastic 60-pierce California Pops Orchestra, conducted by Kim Venaas. This time, it was The Big Broadcast of 2011, a musical variety show in which Pierce sang old hits such as "Ruby," "Dream A Little Dream of Me," "Sleepy Time Gal," and others.
On December 12th, Pierce performed as the featured guest soloist in the 65-piece California Pops Orchestra's holiday concert, Holiday with the Pops at the Pops' fantastic new venue, Calvary Hall in Los Gatos. Various newspapers, including the San Jose Mercury News and the Palo Alto Daily, featured articles about Pierce and the concert.
On October 28th, Pierce performed with Broadway star Rebecca Luker in
42nd Street Moon's Once In a Million Moons: A Jerome Kern Salon at
the Alcazar Theatre in San Francisco. Pierce and Rebecca sang the glorious duet, "You Are Love," from Showboat. The outstanding cast also featured Debbie DeCoudreaux (Broadway actor and star of the Moulin Rouge in Paris), Bill Fahrner, Alexandra Kaprielian, Michael Scott Wells, and Director/Host Greg MacKellan.
On October 8th-10th, Pierce performed as "Barnaby" in Hello Dolly in Concert starring Broadway, TV, & Film star Leslie Uggams with the magnificent Symphony Silicon Valley at the California Theatre in San Jose. The cast also featured celebrated Broadway actors Walter Charles and Sarah Uriarte Berry, as well as local Bay Area favorite, Ric Iverson, and Los Angeles actor Katie von Till.
